2017 West Oahu VEX at UHWO

On October 14, 2017, 4142B and 4142C arrived at University of Hawaii at West Oahu Campus to compete at the West Oahu Tournament. By the end of the day, both teams were drained, yet satisfied from making their final move at their last competition before states.

By the end of the competition, 4142B were Tournament Champions along with their alliances 359A from Waialua High/Intermediate School and 4208A from Kamehameha Schools. Not only Tournament Champions, 4142B also received the Excellence Award. Once the announcer called out the Excellence Award recipients, those on the team looked at each other with wide eyes and a huge smile formed on their faces. At that moment. they knew that their hard work had finally entered them into states which will be coming up in January.
