East Oahu VEX Robotics Competition
Sacred Hearts Academy had the honor to host the 2015 East Oahu VEX Robotics Competition, and 4142 B, and 4142 C had the opportunity to compete in it, along with 36 other teams. It was another great experience as a team, not only the awards, but also the lessons learned, and the chance to overcome problems we encountered individually and as a team. But with hard work throughout qualification matches team 4142 B was ranked 1st, and 4142 C 2nd out of all 36 teams. With that, as the first seeded team 4142 B chose 4142 C and 394 (Highlands Intermediate Robotics team) to alliance with. As a result of this alliance, the teams made to finals, and it was us against, 1841, 1973 A, and 359 C. But with just 2 final matches with scores of 178-123, and 108-53, Pearl City and Highlands takes the tournament. In addition, 4142 B received the excellence award, and robot skills; as for 4142 C, they made 2nd place in both robot skills, and program skills. Overall both teams worked no matter how easy, or hard the problem was, we are 4142 Pearl City Robotics, achieving the impossible.
