ESPN HONOLULU SPORTS FESTIVAL VEX ROBOTICS CHALLENGE SPONSORED BY ESPN 1420AM
Both Pearl City Teams had an early start to the Tower Takeover season by competing in the first tournament of the year: ESPN Honolulu Sports Festival VEX Robotics Challenge sponsored by ESPN 1420AM at Neal S. Blaisdell Center Exhibition Hall on June 15, 2019 hosted by Pearl City High School alongside Team 394, Highlands Intermediate.
Despite there only being 9 other teams competing, it was fun to see what other teams from came up with, from around the island and the outer islands, for the new game that was just revealed in April!

4142A allianced with 42700D, Crusaders D, from St. Louis School, and 4142B allianced with 4442X, Navigator Robotics, from Island Pacific Academy, faced each other in the finals. 4142B and 4442X beat 4142A and 42700D by 2 points, with a score of 41 points to 39 points, making them the Tournament Champions.
